The Mother-in-law is on the roof



      She's trying out her new broomstick. Almost a Les Dawson joke we know but it's a splendid little signature for the thatcher who roofed this house.
      We've seen thatched foxes, pheasants, owls and even half a dozen pigeons scattered across the thatch but never a witch, and that figure is beautifully made.
      Thank goodness it wasn't a wizard in that pose.
