We spotted this plaque on the front of a cottage out in the middle of Fenland and we also found out that the cottage was originally built for one Richards Nobbs in 1889, well the date was a bit of a giveaway for that bit of the information.
The owners also showed us the 'Crow's foot' Waymarker or Trig point on the front wall of their house and it matches the one on the front of our house.
The brothers of the Trig, now that sounds like something from Sherlock Holmes.
