Because it was a sunny day we suspect he'd decided to move around a little and get some warmth into his bones, well the sun was out and shining, so he just materialised and had a stretch.
Within seconds and absolutely true to form he just melted away, blending into the background and then disappearing. No doubt he's on the trail of another of his twice a year scoops for the Two Terriers.
