Halo forming

Taken from the rear, a partially formed halo being created by the sunlight refracting through ice crystals that compose a thin sheet of Cirrostratus cloud high up in the sky.
This cloud must be very high, if not in the stratosphere, because we watched a formation of F15s returning to Lakenheath flying beneath it and they were small but identifiable, so how far the above them the cloud formation was I don't know.
But it's good to see the clearer skies and the return of the Liberty Wing's F15s.
