It's a yellow world and getting yellower

We're at that time of the year when the countryside seems to be turning yellow or to be more accurate, many shades of yellow. The Primroses have all but disappeared but the Cowslips are putting on a great show on the sides of the dykes and the Dandelions seem to be everywhere.
Then there's the great flush of yellow on the oilseed rape, a more acid, colder yellow and so far the flowers are only about one third in bloom.
We'd better get the sunglasses out to tone the yellow rush down.
