Now you know

As you know we love a bit of type at the Two Terriers and here's a tastefully restrained piece of Edwardian typography on an enamel sign from 1907.
There may not have been an awful lot to say on this warning notice but the sign writers have still managed to work at least six fonts into the message, marvellous.
This may be somewhat belated but well done to those Edwardian sign writers who were commissioned by the Burnt Fen District Drainage Board.
Just an afterthought, but what would the maximum weight of the 'ordinary traffic' be? Answers on a postcard please.
