I came downstairs to make the tea a couple of mornings ago and just as I turned the two terriers out for their pee, I was greeted by this strange cloud formation.
The clouds look like those movie clouds when an alien craft is just about to burst through and all hell breaks loose. Cue Bruce Willis.
There was an opportunity missed here without any doubt; I should have got straight on the telephone to the USAF at Lakenheath and insisted they send up a pair of F15s to do a visual check for me above the clouds.
No problem for them at all, they've always got a couple of aircraft on 24 hour standby for me just in case I call in with an emergency.
