Harvested at the full moon

We are really rather pleased with this little crop of garlic particularly because it was grown in two small raised beds about one metre square.
The cloves went into the ground in November last year and now we have a plan for next year. The contents of three compost bins and old horse manure will be piled into the beds in the next week or so after having transferred the present used compost to the flower beds at the front of the house.
Then we'll try and remember which particular garlic was which. The beds were labelled but two Jack Russels re-arranged matters and then destroyed all of the labels.
We'll also be investing in three more new beds too. One thing that is for sure though, you'll smell us coming a mile off.
