Several weeks of very little rain, now a heatwave and the cracks are really beginning to appear.
The land that is primarily clay shows the effects of the heat first with cracks weaving their way through the crops while the silt lands and the peat lands turn to dust.
The English always moan about the weather, so, just for the record, it's too dry and too hot.
For the land, some water please, and for me a pint of lovely cool IPA.
