A hot, still day in West Norfolk and we're on the way back from our picture framers with the chosen route home following the Sixteen Foot.
If you're a fisherman you have to just to check out the potential swims and peer over bridges.
The surface of the water is covered in pollen, a greenish yellow pollen and there must be tons of the fine powder because the coating goes on for six or seven miles. The only clear places being where there is a ripple on the water but today is so calm and breeze free that there aren't many of those places.
Water with a matt finish, that's different.
