Paul Ince's allotment

This is a print that was produced during a period when I had an obsession with Middlesbrough Football Club's squad numbers, I know, it's sad. I would see numbers in isolation, like plot 9 on the allotments and then check who had the squad number and build a print around the concept.
The very idea that a Premiership millionaire footballer had an allotment in Middlesbrough where he would tend his flowers and vegetables and sit eating ginger nut biscuits, drinking tea from his flask whilst being badgered by his Jack Russell. This simply appealed to my sense of the ridiculous.
In reality they'd just go down to the tattoo parlour now.
'Paul Ince's allotment' is printed in ten colours on 350gsm Arches 88 paper and measures 270mm x 445mm.
