We bought a tank

Not a real First World war tank but a fund-raising war bond souvenir tank. Sadly the two big four pounder guns have snapped off but it is almost one hundred years old so we can forgive it for having the length of the barrels reduced.
This one was a souvenir from Blackpool but we're sure there are similar souvenirs from other fashionable seaside resorts.
The tank was given its name because it looked like a water tank. It can't have been much fun in there; roaring engines, machine guns and four pounders firing whilst crashing around over rough ground. Then the enemy started firing at you.
We bet there weren't many Politicians or Generals riding in them when they went into battle.
