A Jack Russell and the irresistible lure of a Bramley Apple

The precision, colour and formal pattern of the winter wheat are lost on this Jack Russell, Barney is concentrating on his Bramley cooking apple. He pinches one every day when we go through the orchard, other kinds of apple just don't measure up and obviously don't have the desired flavour.
The beautiful Buddhist formality of the winter wheat rows are totally wasted too, no surprise that the rainbow and the fabulous Fenland sky went unremarked as well.
Later, having spotted, in the rainbow photograph below, the farmer returning with a carrier bag full of Bramleys that particular apple focus makes perfect sense. Meanwhile the other Jack Russell was digging a big hole hunting rats in the side of the dyke.
It's all about focus and priorities.
