We haven't been past this old friend for some time so while on a trip to sample some fine ale at a pub nearby it seemed appropriate to take this photo opportunity.
Gradually the undergrowth is taking over and smothering the old Massey Ferguson tractor but it will take a few years to completely reclaim all the metal but, amazingly, the tyres haven't lost their pressure yet.
Once the trees and hedge have finally lost all their leaves and turned bare we'll take another look at the monster lurking in the hedgerow.
It's another excuse to visit a great pub that does good food too.
