Afloat not falling

      Well here she is, a rather sad, depressed and neglected Icarus. It depresses me every time I see her when I'm walking and Pike fishing my way along the river. The boat has nice lines and would be a great holiday home for the two of us and a pair of Jack Russells.
      I really can see this little boat all tidied up and restored with a new paint scheme, a blackened hull and the chimney cheerfully smoking away. I'm sure she would carry us to some new Pike fishing destinations and of course some new pubs too.
      That's what Icarus needs now, new life breathed into her and a bit of TLC.
