Bridget Riley's clothesline

Another chapter in the The Two Terriers' guide to modern art. This time we feature a little snippet of 'Op-Art' and drift back to the sixties.
Admire the strong yellows and blues and the rather flighty red highlight of the adhesive tape. And what about the blue background? Conclusive proof that you don't have to spend a fortune on materials at your local and very expensive art shop.
Admire the tension and the convoluted form. It could be a mackerel lure for holidaymakers or simply visual fun but, just think, you can get all these subtle nuances from a simple clothes line.
Anybodies clothes line, never mind Bridget Rileys'.
      More art movements to follow.
