The Hollies ticks the boxes

Above is an example of some delightful detailing on the facade of an Edwardian house in the village.
The name in the gable and the brickwork are a treat. Pillars on the bay windows with details in carved stone and yet more in the lintels above the windows. The original front door his painted in a heritage colour sadly not in our favourite, Norfolk Bog Door Blue. We are sure that door is a horror to paint too and then there is some brilliant finishing around the door with yet more carving.
How could we forget, all the original ridge tiles are in place too.
What more could you ask for? Well there isn't a holly bush anywhere in sight so that's a detail that's missing.
We got so excited we needed to go and sit down in a cool dark place.
