High up on a Carr Stone wall was a rather fine Victorian plaque with the carved words saying 'Erected by the Trustees of March Consolidated Charities'. Now that really is splendid and the consolidated charities are still going to this day, perhaps the trustees should work in HM Treasury with that level of care and thrift.
Maybe we're being a just little picky but we reckon that top part of the ribbon is well worth restoring, but never mind the weather damage, we'd have it in the garden.
