One of our old poster collection and a particular favourite. The poster was 'found' in the 1960's and now it hangs on the studio wall.
Printed by letterpress on a machine glazed paper it is a little bit of class from a long closed local printer who obviously tried to use as much of his stock of typefaces as he could. When you look back at the anarchic sixties now they seem like quite a gentle period in modern history and even the style of the poster looks just a little bit 'Miss Marple', but then it was Norfolk, thank goodness.
Which section do we show in this year? Luncheon table decorations or Floral Art? Fire-fighting demonstration? Let's see if they can handle a proper 'Fen fire'.
Decisions, decisions.
