Finally, blue-ish skies up above

The Met Office were forecasting weather that signalled the end of the world. A months rain in half a day, thunder storms and giant hail but that all passed and the skies cleared.
I arrived back from walking the two terriers pretty well drowned, the dogs and I stood and dripped and we got a telling off for the mess we were making on the kitchen floor. They weren't impressed, and neither was I, it was hell out there but nobody cared.
Horses tails appeared when the skies cleared followed by the strange haze that always seems to arrive whenever we get warm and humid conditions, making the sky look like a strange computer special effect.
Tomorrow, no doubt, the weather will be completely different and guess what, it was.
