Night washes

The washes are the vast areas on the Fens that are allowed to flood as an integral part of the flood controls. They act as a giant safety valve or an emergency reservoir that is then run off to the sea when conditions allow and because of this controlled flooding the farming carries on in greenhouses and fields as if nothing has happened, meanwhile the F15s from the 48th Fighter Wing continue their night exercises high in the night sky.
'Night washes' is a linocut printed in ten colours printed on 300gsm Fabriano Artstico Extra White HP and measures 300mm x 210mm.
All of the prints featured in 'Hanging on the gallery wall' can be purchased from the Two Terriers by telephone on 01945 773850 or email on jarsue159@btinternet.com.
