This spell of dry, settled weather with light winds is drying the land out at terrific rate. This time the picture hasn't been taken from the Two Terriers satellite but is simply a photograph of one of the tractor ways on a field headland.
The photograph does look like a high altitude picture of a desert in Asia or Australia patterned with dried out creek and stream beds but in reality it's West Norfolk from three feet.
The rains will arrive soon enough so enjoy the weather while you can.
