A rather splendid sponge cake stuffed with marscapone icing and strawberries and just in case that isn't quite enough, well, the top is iced and there are more strawberries and grated chocolate too. Marvellous.
Obviously the strawberries are local, from one of our farmer neighbours and these are just the strawberries that didn't get scoffed straight from the punnet.
Keeping that lean and athletic figure is getting more and more difficult.
