Work in progress

A request, from a gentleman somewhere in England but probably sitting by a secret pond watching a float, for a framed copy of the 'The Float Box'.
The first copy featured on the cover of the tenth anniversary edition of Waterlog in 2006, it has also featured in 'Hanging on the gallery wall'.
The print is produced in two colours and then hand coloured with Japanese water colours and because of the 'hand-made' process it takes quite a while to complete. Particularly when you have to allow for the thorough drying needed between each application of colour.
The image makes me want to see one of those floats in the box gently sinking under the surface of the water…
