Ploughing along with the two terriers this morning and in the middle of the rapidly ripening oil-seed rape we saw tiny patch of blue. Closer examination revealed cornflowers and we haven't seen them growing wild in five years. Bonus.
The other bonus? Well it was an absolutely idyllic West Norfolk morning, warm sun, a light breeze and bird song; not even the distant sound of the 48th Fighter wing running up the turbofans in their lovely F15s.
Every day is like a holiday, it doesn't get much better than this.
Meanwhile back at ground level things are normal.
