The old transformer box to the rear of the house and after a little early morning sunbathing it looks like it is going to get a bit of a wash and brush-up at some point today.
What's in the air? Well, it may only be the middle of August but there's a smell of autumn, the apple, pear and plum crop is tremendous and all manner of berries are ripening.
The excessive heat and humidity have disappeared and the weather is now the complete opposite of two weeks ago and probably more like the seasonal norm.
I think it's time to buy some new hooks and make some Pike traces.
