Another bit of once used and now redundant farm equipment in another West Norfolk farmyard. It must be years since this tap was turned to put fuel into tractor or some other piece of self propelled agricultural equipment.
The farmer explained that he has had new tanks placed where it is much harder to steal the diesel, so as is the custom around here, this particular tank is just left to its own devices, retired in fact.
The valves and taps must be worth something though if they are non-ferrous metal. I'm quite surprised the light fingered section of society haven't got that one worked out.
