We simply couldn't resist these beauties when we saw them. We don't collect stamps but just love the images.
The celebration of Russia's successes in manned space flight at the top with the Communist red view of space on two stamps is just brilliant, right down to the spacewalk with the movie camera. We don't know about the Cold War but it looks hot in space.
The fellow below, whoever he is, looks like the chemistry or maths master from hell. Was he an architect, politician or a maths master?
