An impressive lightning conductor adorning an old Primitive Methodist Chapel in Cambridgeshire.
We thought that the Methodists weren't given to flamboyant displays and overt decoration but obviously some local blacksmith thought 'to hell with that', quite literally. 'This is a fun job', that's not allowed either, so I'll get it fixed up on the roof before they come back.
If 'He' is going to throw a bolt of lightning you might as well give him something interesting to aim at, not just a boring rod.
Or is that pushing your luck?
