Mooching around an old barn trying to find Jack Russell Terriers who suddenly find it convenient to forget their names, and ignore the whistle we discover a little piece of black, yellow and gold treasure transferred onto the side of a wooden hopper on a potato sorter. Potato history you could say.
The piece of equipment looks as if it originated in the forties or fifties but whenever it was first made and used we just love the typefaces, colours and distressing. Thanks also to you Mr Woodworm for the special effects drilled into the box side too.
It isn't really special, just somebody trying to make a trademark smart and make it stand out and it's all the better for it.
Pride in the product as well as the potatoes you could say.
