As always when we walk the dogs we come across all manner of disused and obsolete agricultural equipment. We have said before that we cannot understand why, when it is obviously obsolete, it doesn't get get sent for scrap and get turned into some money.
In this corner of an orchard it's a little bit of a terrier's adventure playground, the two Jack Russells love it.
When we ask about why all the steel isn't sold for scrap the most common and considered answer is, "it'll come in one day, you just don't know when you'll need it and if you haven't got it you'll wish you had it still when that day comes."
Irrefutable Norfolk logic, it's hard to argue against.
As always.
