There's a whole load of firewood if you chop up the wooden plant stakes and enough fleece keeping everything warm and dry and it's underneath that where the treasure lies.
In one building we found an old Victorian garden seat, reached an agreement with the farmer and now we have cleaned it up, de-rusted the metalwork and after a good sanding, oiled the woodwork. With the lovely Spring weather that we have been having so far this month the seat seems to be enjoying its new lease of life.
Barn finds, what a joy. The two Jack Russell Terriers love a good rummage too so everybody is happy.
