Cow Parsley cream

It's that time of year when the dyke sides, brinks and headlands are covered in the creamy white froth of Cow Parsley, from the air it must look like someone has been dragging a chinagraph pencil along  all the different margins. We think Cow Parsley Cream, will be another Norfolk heritage paint colour name in the making.
Already the the birds, the variety known by the farmers as LBJ's, or 'Little Brown Jobs', are inspecting the heads for seeds but they are going to have to wait a few weeks and be a little more patient for their feast.
Meanwhile May just keeps on blooming and getting better as it bursts into June.
