A box of fresh carrots all washed and complete with their tops tied and lined up on parade. The season of plenty really is in full swing now. Carrots, potatoes, beetroot, garden peas, broad beans, garlic, rhubarb, early onions and salad crops, not forgetting strawberries too. A veritable cornucopia of vegetables and fresh food.
Hot on the heels of these vegetable crops the soft fruit are coming rapidly followed by the orchard fruit so just what isn't there to like?
We're spoilt for choice.
