The pole used by the pigeons and doves for posing and kestrels and sparrowhawks for hunting has a bit of lean now.
A driver decided that his rallying skills were of a higher standard than they were in reality. The ninety degree right turn, as he was approaching went all wrong. In the morning we found headlamp reflectors, bits of bumper, wing and wing mirror all around the base of the pole.
We never saw any cars driving around with the damage on show so we assume it was rapid and expensive repairs.
Anyway the pole is glowing beautifully so it seems to be making a full recovery.
