Riders on the storm

      I can hear that brilliant Doors introduction looking at this 'Apocolypse now' sky.
      We make no apologies for yet another explosive nuclear sunset but this one simply burst out of a gap in the rainclouds and rain squalls and pretty splendid it is too.
      Another apocryphal late evening sky and, as the the nights draw in, we should see even more of these dramatic skies as the weather fronts move in from the south west and autumn gales begin to blow.
      Those nights around the fire will be a real pleasure and we're quite looking forward to it.
      Do I hear the sound of thunder?
