Follow that plough

After three nights of hard frosts the ground is frozen solid, consequently the farmer is now ploughing  the field in front of the house with no danger of the tractor sinking into the mud. I presume he's using the eight bladed plough rather than the larger twelve bladed version to make life a little easier on the tractor.
A dawn start and before he's finished the field the seagulls and crows are following the plough enjoying an unexpected bonus breakfast of beautifully chilled worms. Lovely.
Now the weather can get on with breaking the soil down again before the spring wheat is sown.
