The dykes had real ice on them this morning, a first for this winter, in fact it's been so long since they were frozen over we've almost forgotten about iced-up dykes and drains. We had one morning at the beginning of November, at least I think it was November, when there was what looked like a bit of cellphone in the edges but that has been all we have seen of cold weather until now.
The big question is are we going to see some proper cold winter weather or will the mild weather along with the wind and the rain return?
Well, the weather men don't seem to know.
Back to the seaweed nailed to the shed door I think.
