Books from yesteryear

I've been trying to de-clutter the studio a little because space really is at a premium in there; well, where would I put all of the new clutter if the place is full of old clutter.
This collection of childhood and well worn 'Observers Books' is treading a dangerous 70-30 line between going to the book recycling bank or into the loft. The trouble is that in the loft they won't be looked at and if they aren't looked at when they're on the shelf what is the point in keeping them?
I think the recycling option is gradually increasing its winning lead to 80-20.
The book and bottle bank calls.

  1. Book recycling bank? Does that mean they are pulped? I'd give them to a charity shop.

  2. Don't know why I didn't think of that, I gave all my others to the Salvation Army shop. I'm obviously suffering from a muddled brains… John

  3. If it's not beautiful or useful get rid of it. I'm paraphrasing and can't remember who said it but I like it.
