A quick scan of the sky to the east before walking the two Jack Russell Terriers and the clouds are beginning to look rather menacing. Something is brewing out there on the eastern horizon but precisely what will it be? Is it more rain or is it snow?
The weatherman called it a 'dump' of snow this morning but we think blizzard is a much more atmospheric way to describe a heavy snowfall, dump seems to have other connotations.
Whatever it is it will be what is, and not having to drive to work is a bonus, just light the fire and have another pot of coffee or tea. And don't forget some toast when we get back from the walk.
