Rossendale?

Another of those delightful wall plaques that decorate a lot of the houses and cottages  in the Fens, but the name of a Lancashire borough near Manchester, on a cottage in Fenland? The naming of these, as the estate agents like to call them 'artisans cottages', always seems very random but we think we've cracked the code.
Here's our solution and you'll start looking for clues now. Right, we think Rosemary and Dale lived here or had the cottage built, hence Rossendale, the artistic joining of their two names. Not quite up there with the retirement cottages and bungalows called 'Dunroamin' or 'Donanella' but pretty good.
This could become a new I-Spy craze. Over to you.
