Another day of bright sunshine and very little wind so there is no doubt that we are due for a major change in the weather. The warmth of the sun has brought the fields of oil seed rape into full bloom and the pollen in the air forms a suede or flocked effect on the cars, it must be hell if you are a hay fever sufferer. The smell of the rape seed flowers is something that a lot of people find unpleasant but, perversely, I quite like it.
No doubt this evening the weatherman will be forecasting that there will be gales, grey skies, rain and a massive fall in the temperature all within a few days, and for good measure that there will probably be a frost too.
You just can't beat the British weather, it keeps you guessing.
