I want that one

      A suggestion for tiling the lobby between the front door and inner door, something to gently while away a Bank Holiday weekend. The trouble is that this tiling looks more like a marquetry inlay in exquisite veneers. It isn't though, it is two kinds of polished marble and the whole space was, or at least is, about 3 metres x 12 metres, I cropped my feet out to improve the composition by the way.
      The beautiful tiled floor is also a rather splendid optical illusion and if you stood and stared at for long enough you felt as if you were falling into it. Those Spanish craftsmen knew a thing or two about tiling and in four hundred years just think how many feet have walked across it.
      And it still looks as good as new. Fantastic.
