The farmer and I got our answer to the colour of the Agri potato flowers this week and as you can see they are white with a little yellow in the middle. Because they are a new variety I went for pink and the farmer for mauve, so we were both wrong but never mind, at least we didn't have a money bet on it.
The plants are huge and the contractor who has hired the land is totally happy, he's so happy that he's already hired the 22 acre wheat field next door for next years crop. Now we are both hoping for a free sack of potatoes in the autumn so we'll just have to start dropping hints, two sacks out of that lot won't make much difference.
We'll just keep hinting and live in hope until harvest time.
