Sadly we haven't really had any splendid thermonuclear sunsets for quite while, often there is the promise of a real blinder approaching as the evening sky begins to look as if it is building towards a visual crescendo then everything seems to fill in and the switch has been flicked for lights out.
Anyway just to tide everybody over until the sun and skies co-operate here are couple of westward views to keep you going through the barren patch.
In the meantime who knows what tonight will bring.
