I've just finished another print in the series of six Fenland skies and now they are all in the drying rack patiently waiting to be editioned. The Fenland skies yesterday as storm 'Doris' cruised through ripping the clouds across the sky weren't unlike those imaged in the print.
The next project is working out the theme for the following two in the series and the boss is encouraging me to go all Japanese for the next pair because they are going to be created around that old cliche the sunset.
That should be real fun.
'The linocut 'Speeding sky' is in an edition of twelve prints and has been printed in eight colours on 300gsm Somerset Cream Textured paper, the image area is 150mm x 150mm.
Very, very nice indeed TT - loving that sky, i can hear the whisper of the wind through the reed, splendid! TTFN Dickie
ReplyDeleteDickie, it wasn't so much whispering as howling like a banshee. The house was shaking at one point and the walls are two feet thick. That was some wind. As the farmer neighbour said, 'fuck me, that cleared the air!' John
