It's the season for celebrating colour, the change from winter's greys and browns is inexorably gathering speed. Blossom is bursting, primroses, cowslips, daffodils and all the other spring bulbs are showing off, even the fields in front of the house are limbering with the yellow revolution of the oilseed rape flowers.
Because of all this colourful optimism it was a real pleasure to find this little beauty when we visited some friends and their newly purchased farm come smallholding. Massey Ferguson red on the seed drill and a crisp highlight of Norfolk Bog Door Blue twine.
All that and a sunny day too. It doesn't get much better.
Light was sublime about 8ish round Fakenham this morning.
