A rapidly developing situation

      High winds coupled with fast moving weather fronts and violent squalls have made it an exciting couple of days. Sometimes the rain hits you fair and square, and at other times you can see it pouring down a few hundred yards away while you remain dry and treat the extreme weather as a spectator sport.
      These two photographs were taken at the front of the house within minutes of one another one evening last week, and watching the weather was way more interesting than watching the television pundits and experts theorising about what was going to happen the general election.
