The farmer's golden retriever decided that Minnow's training treat was better than hers. A major mistake that will not be getting repeated any time soon.
Our smallest Jack Russell Terrier was instantly transformed from a small terrier enjoying a sunny walk and a bonus training treat into a lips back, teeth bared, hackles up hterrier from hell looking for revenge for the retriever having had the temerity to dare and try a little theft.
You'd think that the retriever would have learnt not to tangle with the ratting queen after five years of walking together but obviously the temptation of the treat was just too much.
Never mind, no harm done and lesson learned.
