Keeping an eye out

      The boss and I love old church architecture and ornaments, or embellishments if you like, and here's a real cracker from Suffolk that has been watching over the church entrance for quite a few centuries.
      Although it is obviously very, very old it does remind us of Royal Doulton pottery but in reality that phrase should be reworded and say that the Royal Doulton reminds us of the statue.
      Whichever way you look at it the statue is really smart and the much eroded niche isn't too shabby either.
